Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this day! Thank You for the time this morning that my wife and I had to study and dive deep into the Bible. Thank You for all the blessings You’ve given us. Thank You for all the free things you’ve given us to take care of and nurture that I used to take for granted; my heart, my soul, my mind and my body to name a few. Thank You for leading and guiding me on this journey, one step into the light You provide me at a time. Having faith that You’ll show me the next step as you light up my path just far enough for me to comprehend at this time in my life until You reveal more to me to deepen my understanding and ability to comprehend what’s next. Thank You for this time with You to share my thoughts on this public forum. In Your mighty, holy and precious Name, Amen.
Thank You God, for giving me a little at a time. If I knew all the things I think I know or at least think I can comprehend now, all at one time I don’t think I could have handled it. I probably would have melted down by now. I don’t know it all and I certainly don’t have it all figured out but I believe I know more or at least I can comprehend more than I used to. In previous posts I mentioned near the start of my spiritual awakening that I used to have discussions with an Atheist friend of mine. When I think back on how those conversations began, I thought I knew all the answers and was more concerned about being right than meeting this man on his level and loving him where he was at. I believe God used this man in my life for multiple purposes, one of them being to pick up my Bible and begin reading it and studying more than I ever had before. I believe another purpose for this man in my life was to let my guards down and soften my heart. I would pray every day that this mans heart would be softened and to open His mind to accept all the things I thought I knew about God. Looking back on my transformation I think God used that prayer to soften my heart to start loving this man like a child of God, rather than an adversary to win over. Love him where he is at and let God do the rest, that’s what I kept hearing and feeling internally but I wanted to be right for so long. Do you want to be right or do you want to help do God’s work? This is something else I kept hearing and feeling internally. There are many people in this world that do not know what unconditional love from the Father feels like, they’ve never experienced it from a human so maybe they can’t even begin to comprehend what that would be like. I believe our job is to love 1st. “Jesus answered, ‘The most important is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your hear and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than thes.'” -Mark 12:29-31. How many souls can we win for the Kingdom by showing others that we are different than anything they may have experienced. I believe that this is going to be very important with upcoming news that may be revealed publicly, hopefully sooner than later. People that don’t know God or maybe some that think they do, or others yet that religion is their god, they do not need to be condemned by us. They have experienced enough condemnation already. Our job is not to judge but to love. Show them the love of the Father through you, you are tangible to them. I’ve heard it said that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. When you love others unconditionally, it opens the door for them to want to know why you are different than anyone else that has ever been a part of their life. It’s time to suit up with the armor of God and remember that the weapons of the spiritual realm are not physical. Love is a powerful weapon, meet them where they are at, love them for who they are and let God do the rest. Let’s melt the walls of satan’s kingdom with love. The battle has already been won but He let’s us participate in God size work. Maybe you were born for this purpose, to be warrior in God’s army. From one humble warrior to another, may you experience the peace and love of God that surpasses all understanding. -A humble warrior in God’s army
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” -John 13:34 ESV
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. -The Lord’s prayer
