Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for this day! Thank You for all of the blessings You have given us and continue to pour out over us. Thank You, Jesus! Praise You, Lord! Bless You, Lord Jesus! Thank You for the inspiration that You provide to me on a regular basis. Thank You for leading, guiding, and directing me on this journey. Thank You, Jesus! I ask that You continue to provide me with insight on the books I read and videos that I listen to and watch. I thank You and ask all of these things in Your mighty, holy, and precious Name, Amen.
I had always heard that seeing is believing, but now I’m questioning if that works in reverse? Can you mirror this statement of seeing is believing with believing is seeing? I asked a few of my friends I regularly discuss my thoughts and received some mixed results. According to Jesus, we need to believe that we have already whatever we ask in prayer and it will be ours, according to a verse in Mark. What does that mean? One of the answers I received was in regards to the lottery, if I believe that I’ve won the lottery, does that make it so I win? I don’t know, I don’t think so, but at the same time, I don’t know. Is everything an illusion? If so, then the illusion should be able to be manipulated, can we manipulate the illusion? Do we regularly manipulate the illusion, unknowingly? The manipulations are based on our reactions to what happens throughout each day based on how our subconscious has been programmed? Do the Bible and the teachings of Jesus show us how to manipulate the illusion, consciously? These are just a few of my thoughts today. I intended to share this much earlier today, but allowed myself to be distracted by things that will probably lead to future thoughts and posts, but delayed the writing today. Just a few things to think about until next time. I hope and pray that you’ve stumbled upon this page you will ask questions like this and many more if you’re not already. Asking questions has helped me dig deeper into many different subjects and has helped me understand my faith, which I believe has also strengthened my faith. Don’t be afraid if something you find in your search causes you to doubt, but don’t stop searching because doubt has made an appearance. I find when doubt starts creeping in, that is the time to dig deeper, not the time to stop. -A humble warrior in God’s army
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” -Mark 11:24 ESV
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever, Amen. -The Lord’s prayer
