Thursday 6/17/21 – Secret Agent

This was written Monday 6/14/21, finally had the opportunity to post, enjoy. Thank You Lord Jesus for another beautiful week.  Thank You for some down time, thank You for allowing me to take some time off from work to spend some much needed time in Michigan with family and friends for a few days.  While the time was short, my wife and I game planned and we were able to strategize against the enemy to make sure we were where we needed to be when we needed to be there and to just be in the moment, however long that moment was.  I thank God for the words of encouragement that He shared with me that I was able to share with my friends and family.  I did feel a little bit like a secret agent in God’s army, my life is no longer on the “grid”.  I am not on any social media. No one even knew we were in town for a few days other than our closest friends and family.  This allowed us to have a laser like focus with those that we needed in our lives most, whereas in the past our focus would have been more like a flashlight with the focus being diluted, not allowing to really impact us or them.  Thank You Lord for asking me to be in Your army.  There is a spiritual battle that is going on all around us, whether we can see it or not, the seen vs. the unseen worlds that we live in.  Who invented the word “coincidence”?  Who invented the words lucky or misfortune?  Start by removing the word “coincidence” from your vocabulary or at least if you do continue to use it, realize there may be much more to that word each time you say it.  When you start to realize there is a spiritual battle going on, all around us, every day, you will start to see a lot more “coincidences” in your life.  More “coincidences” appear in my life the more I pray, the more I spend time in His Word, the more I reflect on a sermon, the more I reflect on scripture and my prayers.  Thank You Lord for the many “coincidences” You are lining up in my life.  Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are showing me more of Your character and that I am beginning to be able to understand, even if I can not comprehend how but that I was made by You.  You are the potter, I am the clay, mold me Lord, shape me into who it is that You want me to be.  Fill me Lord, with You, fill me with Your Word.  While I didn’t feel that I was hiding from You before you transformed me, there were certainly aspects of my life that I thought I could hide from You.  Thank You for loving me through ALL of my sin.  Thank You for showing me that if I submit to You, not only can I resist the devil but in the process that he will flee from me.  Thank You Lord, praise You Lord, bless You Lord Jesus. -A humble warrior in God’s army

Ah, you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?  Who knows us?”  You turn things upside down!  Shall the potter be regarded as the clay, that the thing made should say of it’s maker, “He did not make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”? Isaiah 29:15-16

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.  Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.  Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever, Amen. -The Lords prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for this time together.  Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to teach us all things and remind us of all that You said so that we will better understand what He is going to teach us.  Thank You for allowing me to partner with You during this new and exciting journey of getting to know You and understand You better.  While I may never fully understand You, I thank You for putting Francis Chan in my path and he has taught me that even while I may never fully understand You, I should not limit You to what You can teach me about You.
