Well, yesterday was an interesting day… That is putting it mildly. It was a beautiful day that the Lord gave us! It started with a lot of alone time with my wife this morning where I was able to serve and pamper her. Nothing too fancy, I just tried to be obedient and follow the direction I felt I was given. I was doing what I felt I was being called to do, to take care of my wife and to show her love in a way that she so desperately needed. However, I’m not in tune enough with her yet to know (after 20 years of consistent opportunities, with each opportunity selfishly obliterated, almost 16 of those years I was lucky enough to be married to this beautiful woman that I still do not fully know because it was too hard to have the conversations we are having now). We went out for a dolphin tour in the afternoon. The tour was beautiful and we did see several dolphins. I engaged in a few decisions on my own and ended up paying for them later. Through this process I was given the ability to discern not only that I was being taught a lesson but what I was being taught in this lesson. There are many lessons to learn and only one true teacher of these lessons. Thank God we do not have to learn these lessons on our own. I’m sure your story will be very different than mine but the one thing that is most likely going to be the same is that we will go through many of the same lessons. Our God is a jealous God, He is gracious God, He will allow us to learn the lessons on our own but the process can be expedited if we involve the Holy Spirit. The answer that became abundantly clear was to make sure that I’m in God’s Word, often. Through being plugged in to His word you can receive answers if you learn how to listen, in the quiet, to that still, small and extremely powerful voice of the Holy Spirit. When you ask for guidance and learn to listen I believe the Holy Spirit can and will lead, guide and direct you. He will show us how to live our life by being the best example of Jesus Christ that we can be for others. Never forget, Jesus loves you. -A humble warrior in God’s army
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” John 15:4 ESV
“Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen” -The Lords prayer
Thank You Lord, praise You Lord, bless you Lord!
